Escape rooms are educational

Escape rooms are educational because they teach how to work cooperatively with others and process riddles to solve the puzzle in order to escape the room in a specified amount of time.

Each team has to escape the room in under an hour. Every room has a different theme with a variable level of difficulty and a variety of clues related to the theme of that particular room. The rules of the game are the same no matter which room is chosen and which level of difficulty is being played. There is a goal to be achieved and tasks to be accomplished. Time management skills are put to the test too.

In the Serial Killer’s Lair, as you’re stalked and tormented by an unknown assailant, all the while navigating your way through booby traps set by the serial killer to thwart your escape, you have to find the clues in order to solve the puzzles to escape the room. The challenge in the Embalming Room Zombie Escape is to keep two steps ahead of the Zombie before he gets you. You’ll have to capture the dark Poltergeist before you too become a ghost in the Ghost Lab. Discover the treasure map and solve the clues to find the pirate’s hidden booty in the Treasure Hunt. Outmaneuver Morto, the puppet Clue Master, and uncover priceless artifacts from around the world in the Game Room. Each room has its pitfalls and unique demands to surmount. Learn to work as a team to achieve the tasks at hand and experience the thrill of victory as your team accomplishes the end goal of escaping in under 60 minutes. Working against the clock is both exhilarating as well as a lessen in patience, perseverance, and diligence.

It is so much fun for children at heart of all ages and an experience you’ll never forget.
